Turn On:
The Baltic Sea in Autumn: I love going for long walks at Stroomi Beach when it's chilly and windy. It's the best way to clear my head.
My Creative Outlets: I'm obsessed with film photography. I have an old Soviet camera that my grandfather gave me, and I love capturing the moody, soft light we get here. I also play around with digital illustration on my iPad.
Turn Off:
Small Talk: I really struggle with surface-level conversations. Talking about the weather for ten minutes drains my energy.
Being Rushed: I hate the feeling of being in a hurry. I like to take my time in the morning with my coffee and just exist for a bit before the day starts.
Personnal Message:
Hey! I'm Laurine, an 18-year-old from Tallinn, Estonia. I just finished high school and am taking a gap year to figure out what I really want to study. Right now, I'm working part-time at a cute little café in the Old Town, which is honestly the perfect job for me. I love meeting people from all over the world, and our regulars are the sweetest. Living in Estonia is pretty cool. I love that we're so connected as a society (free Wi-Fi everywhere is a must! ), but I also adore the fact that I can just walk into a forest and feel completely lost in nature. I live with my mom, our moody cat Nublu, and a bunch of plants that I'm trying my best to keep alive. I'm a bit of an old soul, I guess. I'd rather have a deep conversation with one friend in a cozy cafe than go to a loud club.
